Is a residential neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east, 1  Sheepshead Bay to the north, and Brighton Beach to the west. Manhattan Beach is traditionally known as an Italian and Ashkenazi Jewish neighborhood but also has a significant Sephardic Jewish community and a large Russian and Jewish presence. It is known for being one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, with some of the most expensive real estate in the borough.
